The mirror project is a performance piece which portrays the 50 leading international contemporary artists who define the art world. 50 drawings of these artists were handed out at the Frieze opening. None contained any information on the identity of the artist. For those who do not recognise these artists, this website contains this information in the gallery above.

The project explores the gulf between the anonymous persona of the artist and the world that is created by them. The performance's aim is to encourage the recipients to discuss content and remind ourselves that art should provoke thought and discussion not simply to allow currency to dictate authenticity or true value.

All the portraits were drawn by Dan Llywelyn Hall & Raphael Pepper.
